Digital oils are hand-painted using Photoshop™. Beginning with a photo or just an idea, I first draw the major contours using a Digitizing Tablet and Sketchbook Pro™. I import this 'pencil sketch' into Photoshop. Then I fill the major areas with gray-scale to create a tonal image. Next each block of gray is color-replaced with an appropriate color. Finally, details are added using the digital tablet.
